There are no moving parts to fail! Because we actually assemble and test every unit in-house, optimum quality control is assured. Conceptually similar to a step-up transformer, the Volt-Master regulates output voltage by switching the DC about 40,000 times a second through an inductor (not unlike an ignition coil), then rectifies the signal with diodes, and finally buffers and stores the voltage in several large capacitors. This unit adjusts the output voltage and current in each of those capacitors 40,000 times per second!
